Jewellery photography & videos for Athena Creations by M.U. Jewellery.

M.U. Jewellery approached us to shoot Jewellery photography & videos of their amazing collection called Athena Creations. We collaborated and came up with a plan to shoot jewellery photography and videos as well. They already had product shots of their jewellery but what they required was Jewellery photography & videos with a model. A plan comprising of every detail was chalked out. Everything was discussed and fixed upon, the wardrobe, Makeup, Hairstyle, Poses, Look-&-feel of the images et al. On the day of the shoot it was all hands on deck. Everybody did their part in the shoot and more and as a result we had some lovely Stills and awesome videos. These are just a few final Jewellery Stills of the many.

To tell you a little about the collection, Athena Creations is a Jewellery collection by M.U. Jewellery of not just exquisite designs but also of amazing craftsmanship. M.U. Jewellery provides 18kt Rose Gold Jewellery that too 100% stoneless. M.U. Jewellers have a reputation of being a Jeweller’s Jeweller. They have their office at Zaveri bazaar and manufacturing unit in Mumbai. Crafting exquisite Gold jewellery for the families of jewellers since the seventies, M.U.Jewellers has its trust earned through the emphasis on quality. Among the many styles, Concept Jewellery Photography is a popular one. These two images are examples of Jewellery Photography that is blended with a concept. This is done to highlight the creative thought process of the Jewellery designer. This could also be done at the time of planning the Advertising Campaign for the Jewellery Brand.

Example: Shaze Jewellers Shoot. For Shaze Jewellers shoot I shot with the entire set created with Thick Black tinted paper.

Instagram Jewellery Photography

I shoot Jewellery in various genres and budgets. Instagram Jewellery Photography is one of them. All these images are examples of Jewellery Photography for Instagram posts. This is done keeping in mind the budget and the image size requirement. The challenge for me here was to shoot maximum images to be used. Jewelry Photography on a Set

Among the many styles, Jewelry Photography on a Set is quite a widely seen one. The first 3 images of the 2013 Campaign for Sunderdas Zaveri are examples of Jewelry Photography on a Set. This style increases the budget proportionately to how intrinsic/ complicated the set is. After the base set is done then it is populated with props to enhance the look. Also different props are used in different shots but on the same set. This gives a variety in the shots. Similar technique is used in Apparel shoots as well.
